These terms apply to all software tools supplied with a RemapDash subscription, including the free WinOLS LUA bot, Kess V3 & AutoTuner Slave auto unpack and pack tools, and any other automation apps we provide now or in future.
Any software application, bot, script or automation tool supplied by RemapDash is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. All such tools are deemed experimental. You use them entirely at your own risk.
The free WinOLS LUA bot requires your own valid WinOLS licence with the LUA scripting option enabled, purchased from EVC electronic GmbH or an authorised reseller. RemapDash does not supply, resell or sublicense WinOLS or any EVC product, and the bot will not operate without it. WinOLS and DAMOS are trademarks of EVC electronic GmbH; RemapDash is independent of and not endorsed by EVC.
The LUA bot is scripted automation, not artificial intelligence. It does not generate, learn or infer calibration values. Any automated tuning performed with it relies entirely on your own WinOLS project library, map definitions and calibration data, or on third-party solution software you licence separately (such as FixWave or Swiftec), whose output and licensing remain your responsibility. The bot automates your workflow — it does not supply calibrations, judge their quality, or know your customer's vehicle. Every automatically produced file must be checked and verified by a qualified tuner before it is flashed to a real vehicle. Never write an unreviewed automated output to a customer's ECU.
Automatic unpacking and packing of Kess V3 and AutoTuner Slave files is provided as a convenience and is subject to the same as-is, experimental status. You remain responsible for verifying the integrity of every file before it is returned to a customer or written to a vehicle. Alientech and AutoTuner are trademarks of their respective owners; RemapDash is not affiliated with either.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, RemapDash accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from the use of these tools — including, without limitation, damage to ECUs, vehicles or hardware, corrupted or unusable files, lost business, or claims from your customers. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
