Remap calculator for your website, added with one line of HTML. A visitor types their registration and sees the Stage 1 and Stage 2 figures for their own car, and you get the enquiry. No branding of ours on it, no cap on lookups, and it is free if you run a RemapDash portal.

Paste this where you want the calculator to appear. That is the whole installation. Colours and text are configurable so it takes on your own theme, and it resizes itself to whatever space you give it.

How that compares

The nearest equivalent is Ben Sky's vehicle statistics widget. Their marketing page does not show a price, but their order page does, so the figures below are theirs and you can check them yourself. Both columns are the same specification: the calculator, no supplier branding on it, dynograph estimates, and UK registration lookups.

We are not VAT registered, so our prices are the whole amount and nothing is added at checkout. The table above compares both excluding VAT, which is the fair comparison if you are VAT registered and reclaim it. If you are not registered, the amount actually leaving your account for their widget at this specification is £161.99 a month. Prices change, so check theirs before you decide anything. We would rather you did.

Worth doing the sum before you buy the widget. At that specification their calculator is £134.99 a month. A full RemapDash portal is £129 a month, and the calculator is included in it. Over five years the whole platform comes to £7,413 against £8,099 for their plugin on its own, and neither of our figures has VAT to add. If you were going to pay for the registration lookups anyway, the portal is the cheaper thing to buy, and you get the file service, the dealer pricing tiers, the mobile apps, the invoicing and the hosting with it.

What the calculator actually shows

Before and after figures for Stage 1 and Stage 2: power and torque, standard against remapped, for the vehicle the visitor entered, identified from its registration by the same reg plate and VIN lookup the portal uses. Where the data supports it, a dynograph estimate is rendered as well. The visitor can then send you an enquiry from inside the widget, and it arrives at whatever address you nominate.

What it does not do is quote a price or promise a result. The figures are expected gains from manufacturer and calibration data, not a guarantee for one particular car in one particular state of repair, and the widget says so. Anyone selling you a calculator that promises exact numbers is selling you a complaint.

Common questions

How do I add the remap calculator to my website?
Paste one line of script into the page where you want it to appear. It works on any website that lets you add HTML, including WordPress, Wix, Squarespace and a hand-built site. You get your token by email as soon as you register, and the widget resizes itself to fit the space you give it.
Is there a limit on registration lookups?
No. UK registration lookups are unlimited and uncapped, with no daily limit and no per-lookup charge. This is the main difference in cost between us and the alternatives, which typically meter lookups or sell them as a separate monthly add-on.
Does the calculator carry RemapDash branding?
No. There is no RemapDash link or logo on the widget and nothing for you to pay to remove. Your visitors see your site.
Do I need a developer?
Not for the standard widget. It is one line of HTML and the colours and text are configurable without code. If you want to build your own front end, the same data is available as a JSON API with instructions supplied.
Is it free if I already have a RemapDash portal?
Yes. The calculator is included with a RemapDash portal at no extra cost. The standalone price applies only if you want the calculator on an existing website without a portal.
Where do the enquiries go?
To whichever email address you nominate. The enquiry form is built into the widget, so a visitor who has just seen the gains for their own car can contact you without leaving the page.
